Valente Giovanni and Co. SNC has been active in the plastics industry for more than 40 years. Over the years we've acquired new techniques that permit us to meet the needs of modern automization and technical progress. Our business is divided into two sectors: the plastics injection and molding, by means of next generation Arburg presses that are equipped with robots, manipulators, suction plants and other machine equipment. The other sector of our company is where we build molds, using various machining centers such as MAKINO, AGIE CHARMILLES and CB FERRARI, rectifiers, an electrical discharge machining plant with computer numerical control dipping, lathes, a milling cutter for construction and maintenance of our own presses (as well as those of our clients who turn to us for their molding needs).
Utilizing our CAD-CAM VISI system, our clients can see their designs take shape quickly, no matter how simple or complex. Beginning with our client's initial design, we can quickly produce a prototype for client evaluation. Once evaluation has been done, we proceed with creating the molds necessary for mass production of the final product. We are able to produce articles that range in weight from 0.003 oz. (0.1 gram) up to 1.1 lbs. (500 grams), since our pressing assembly (nine presses total) have a range of 50 to 200 tons of compression power. These machines are also equipped with robotics which automate and ration the work as much as possible.
Our company is also involved in the production of specialized parts for the tessile industry, the electronic/electromechanics industry and the sports/hobby industry, utilizing various plastics such as PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), nylons, LCP (liquid crystal polymers), POM (polyoxymethylene), PC (polycarbonate) and the simpler plastics such as PP (polypropylene), PE (polyethylene) and PS (polystyrene). We are currently marketing plastic items for cardboard packaging that are produced with an innovative design that is stirring much interest, thanks to an additive that allows us to offer products that are totally biodegradable. In this way, we are helping to encourage use of ecologically-sound end-products that are not harmful to the environment.
